Maria was born in Fátima, in 1993. In 2015, she graduated from the Law School of the University of Lisbon.

In 2018, Maria completed a Master’s Degree in litigation law at the Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University.

Between September 2016 and April 2021, Maria practiced law at the firm Uría Menéndez - Proença de Carvalho, where she did her internship and joined as an associate lawyer in the Litigation and Arbitration Department (in particular, she practiced law in civil, corporate and criminal litigation, as well as in family and succession law).

Maria joined PLEN in May 2021, as a member of the Litigation Team.

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since September 2018.
