Sofia graduated in 2015 from the Law School of the University of Lisbon.

In 2017, Sofia completed a Forensic Master's Degree at the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University, Lisbon School.

Sofia is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since March 2019.

Between October 2017 and November 2022, Sofia practiced law at the firm Lino de Castro, Horta e Costa, and Associates, where she completed her internship and joined the firm as an associate lawyer in the practice area of ​​Employment Law.

Sofia joined PLEN in December 2022.
