Tomás was born in Cascais in 1991 and holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2015). Tomás is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law and Financial Markets at NOVA School of Law, and is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2017.

He began his professional career at HAAG – Henrique Abecasis, Andresen Guimarães & Associados, having completed his traineeship and practiced law for three years in the areas of Corporate, Commercial, and Litigation.

Tomás joined PLEN in November 2020, where his practice focuses on Corporate / M&A, and Banking and Finance, having participated in several M&A transactions, including private equity and venture capital deals, as well as financing operations, particularly in acquisition finance, infrastructure and energy project finance, and financial restructurings.
